Last weekend Porter and I flew to Salt Lake City for "So You Think You Can Dance" tour concert with my mother-in-law and sister-in-laws. It was so much fun. We ended up getting backstage passes. I'm not a big meet the stars type of person but my sis-in-laws had a good time meeting and taking pictures of all the dancers. Thanks Jill for buying the tickets.
On our way to SLC Porter and I stopped in DEN and had a two hour layover. My parents and sister Kylie came and hung out with us while we waited. It was so good to see them but a little too short of a visit. Thank goodness we'll be back in Denver in a week.
Porter and I got to stay with my sister Carrie and her husband Dave. They haven't seen Porter since thier wedding 7 months ago so it was nice to have some special time with them. Thanks for letting us stay with you guys. We love you!

Happy Halloween
Today was a fun filled day for us. We started off by going to the pumpkin patch in Liberty. Porter loved it. We were able to ride on the train, watch pig races, feed the goats at the petting zoo, ride tricycles, playing in the tunnel and watching Porter go down the slide. It was so much fun seeing Porter have a good time. After that we ran home got Porter changed into his lobster costume and then headed down to the mall. Everyone around kept talking about how cute he was. He really was such a cute Lobster. After going around to all the shops at the mall we headed home had some dinner, Porter played for a while and then we put him down for bed. He went down so quick, he was so tired from everything we did. We hope everyone had a Happy Halloween just like we did!

San Diego- LVN Elite Academy
This past weekend Seth Porter and I went to San Diego for a business trip. We had so much fun there. We got to take Porter to the beach for the first time. Even though the water was cold Porter loved walking along the beach with mommy and daddy. A special thanks to Seth's parents for letting us stay with them and helping with Porter. We love you guys.

Get Well Soon Grandma G
This post is dedicated to my mom. Three weeks before Porter was born last year she was in a very serious accident. She has had a rough road since then, she has had multiple surgeries to try and repair her hip and pelvis. This summer we thought she would finally be out of pain with a complete hip replacement. Things have been looking great for the past couple of months until recently when she started feeling flu like symptoms. The only problem was she wasn't getting any better. Finally she went to the doctor where she was told she got an infection that spread to her blood stream and she was to immediately go to the hospital and she would have to have surgery to take all of the metal in her hip and pelvis out until the infection goes away. Which will be about 4 months, where they will then do the rip replacement all over again. This has been pretty bad news to take. No one would ever choose to have to go through a hip replacement in the first place. Today the doctors inserted a pick line that goes up through her leg all the way up to her heart. It's to protect her heart from the infection. Hopefully she will be able to leave the hospital soon. Porter, Seth and I just wanted to tell G.G. that we love her and we hope you get well soon. We are praying for you every day.
