Pregnancy Literature

Since this is my first pregnancy, I have had so many questions about what's normal and what's not. I've wanted to know every little detail about what is going on in my tummy, so I decided it was time for me to get some books to read. I got two books that I have really enjoyed reading. Those books are: What to Expect When You're Expecting and Your Pregnancy Week by Week. Here is a little run down on what these books are about.

What to Expect When You're Expecting

This book is from what I have been told is like the pregnancy bible. It is a guide that answers the questions and concerns moms and dads-to-be may have. This has been a great book that has answered so many silly questions I have had. It's saved me the trouble of calling my nurse everyday.

Your Pregnancy: week by week:

Now this book I got because I wanted to know every little detail that is going on in my tummy every week. Right now in almost my 10th week of pregnancy, my baby is about 1 to 1.25 inches long and my uterus is a little bigger than a grapefruit. The baby is looking more and more like a human being but still really small. It's arms, legs and fingers are longer. The neck is more developed. The eyelids are fused shut and won't open until the 27th week. The baby is able to move it's limbs but it is not noticeable to me. I love knowing how my baby is growing inside of me.

Today I got two more books from my brothers fiance Kelli. She had my nephew Mason last summer and he is an angel. She sent me these two books that really helped her after Mason came into the world I look forward to reading these books and implementing some of the things Kelli used to help her with Mason. The books are: Secrets of the Baby Whisperer and Good Night Sleep Tight.
