Today Porter is 11 months old and to celebrate this day Porter surprised all of us by taking his first steps. Seth and I stood there in awe not knowing how to react. We just were so excited and happy to see our little guy walk. We were also glad that most of the members of our families were able to see him walk today. From what I hear now is the time when life gets a little crazy. But we are excited.
Porter you love so many things. Some of your favorite things to do are crawl up and down the stairs, read stories, listen to mommy and daddy sing to you, jump up and down smacking your mouth against things making a funny sound, you loves to splash in the tub, you loves to be bounced in the air by daddy and you love phones.
Porter you hate being alone, you always want people around you. You hate being away from mommy. Daddy took you to Colorado for a week and mommy met you out there later and you were so mad at me. You wouldn't come to me and wouldn't look at me for over an hour, mommy was so sad. You hate getting dressed after your bath and you really hate getting your diaper changed.
Porter we love you so much and we are so excited to celebrate your 1st birthday in one more month.
