New York

Seth and I decided that we would take a trip for our one year anniversary. We went to New York and had a lot of fun. It started off a little rocky because Seth was sick with food poisoning the first day we got there, but it got better and it is a trip we will never forget. We did everything from going to the #1 fireworks display in the U.S to the Yankees vs. Red Sox game. We love New York and plan on going back there in the future. Here are some of the pix we took while we were there.

23 weeks

Another week down. Monday we went to the doctors and everything is still looking great. Porter is right where he needs to be and I, thank goodness am not gaining tons of weight. I was so thrilled to get on the scale and see the number that was on it. All it takes is discipline even if you do have cravings. I am so blessed to be pregnant. I wouldn't change my life in any way. I can't wait for our precious baby boy to come into this world. Mommy and Daddy love you Porter.

22 weeks

This week I realized that camping in a very humid climate and being pregnant do not really mix well together. As the young womens president in my ward I got the privilege (not really) to be their leader during girls camp. To put it lightly it was not the greatest experience. It was hot and sticky from sun up to sun down. I spent most of the day sitting under our canopy with a fan on my face. I couldn't really walk around because my feet and ankles were swollen so big that it was so uncomfortable to move. Something good about girls camp was that I got to go rock climbing up a 20ft wall and I made it all the way to the top and I am 5 months pregnant. I don't think there are many people who say that they did that.

Half Way There!!!

20 weeks

I've finally made it to the half way point. These first 20 weeks have come and gone faster than I could have imagined. I hope the second half of my pregnancy goes by as quickly. I'm finally out for the summer which will be nice so I can start getting the house ready for Porter to come. The weather is getting ridiculous out here. It's humid as heck, but at least we got the air conditioning finally working.
