Our Cruise

I am really late blogging this but Seth and I had an absolute blast on our cruise. We started out in Miami and then we went to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and then to the Cayman Islands. Here is an overload of pictures from our cruise.
Getting on the ship. I was a little emotional about being away from Porter for a week.

Month in review

I was really good about posting my baby bump progress with Porter but for this baby I have been pretty bad. So here is a post full of stomach shots.

11 weeks

14 weeks

16 weeks

So far this pregnancy has been pretty different compared to my pregnancy with Porter. For a couple of days leading up to when I found out I was pregnant until about 10 weeks along, I was sick to my stomach most of the day. With Porter I never got sick. I am feeling a lot better now but I still am pretty tired most of the day. With Porter I had leg cramps during the night. They were so bad at times that I would scream out at night. I also had bad indigestion from the time I found out I was pregnant with him to the time I had him. I so far have had none of those. But unfortunately for Seth I have had the worse mood swings. I am embarrassed to admit this but I can cry with a drop of a hat. I probably cry more than 3-5 times a week. It is so funny as I think about it because it really doesn't matter what its about, I just can't stop from getting emotional. Pretty pathetic I know. Seth said that he wouldn't be surprised if this baby is a girl because it has been a basket case just like me. I laughed but I do think it could be a girl just because things have been so different, but we'll see. Speaking about the sex of the baby. Seth and I are going to find out what we are having in two weeks. I am super excited to start calling it a "girl" or "boy" instead of "it." I also have only gained 2 pounds so far, which I am so glad about because I think I was close to 10-15lbs by this point with Porter. I feel a lot more in control. One thing that is the same is that I am so excited to meet this little one inside of me. I am so grateful to be going through this again. April can't come fast enough.

Porter's 2 years old

This post is a couple of weeks late but I wanted to make sure I got a post out about Porter's birthday. Porter turned 2 on September 29th. The weekend before his birthday we celebrated it with our friends and family at Monkey Bizness. Porter and everyone else, even the big kids (adults) had a blast. Porter got so many awesome presents. He is such a lucky little boy. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our little man.

Bring on baby #2

That's right we are pregnant with number two and really feel so blessed. To be completely honest, this little one took almost a year to conceive. I am just over 10 weeks along and my due date is April 18th. We are just so excited and we cant wait for this new adventure.

Time to Say Goodbye

Last Friday and Saturday Seth and I packed up our U-hal and said goodbye to our first home together. Seth and I were overwhelmed with how sad we were to leave, even though we were anxious to get back to Colorado. Our last night was especially hard because we first said goodbye to our Kansas City Lifevantage team that we have come to love. They also surprised us with an iPad. It is the best one you can get and it was just an amazing surprise. That night as Seth and I laid in bed we just were overcome with emotion as we thought about all that happened at that house, like how we spent the night on the floor that first night in our house and we just couldn't wait for Seth's parents to bring our stuff out. Also, how we brought Porter home to that house and watched him grow up, discover stuff and play so hard. We both are going to miss that house but we are so grateful to be back in CO with our families and we are excited to get into a new house.
