Merry Go Round

We went to the Denver Zoo and it was freezing but that didn't stop us from having fun. The Merry Go Round was the highlight of our trip to the zoo. Can I just brag that Porter is cutest little boy ever. What an infectious smile he has and my little Kenley is just so beautiful. I love my kids.

9 months old

Kenley is 9 months old. The highlight of this month is she took her first steps. I knew this was coming but its crazy that my little girl is already taking steps. Kenley is sleeping through the night which is a huge success for Seth and I. We had to let her cry it out. It was so hard hearing her cry that first night but that's all it took and now she is a all night sleeper. She's getting so big and so beautiful every single day. We are so lucky she is ours. Now its time to start planning her first birthday party because it is coming up so quickly.

She really has just been a happy baby lately.

Denver Zoo

Our friends invited us to go to the zoo earlier this week. Porter loved seeing all the animals. Kenley was jut there for the ride. Can't wait to take them back when it's warmer.

Porter is a Sunbeam

Porter's first day of Sunbeams was on Sunday. For the last month I have been stressing about this because he has absolutely loved nursery and I didn't want him to be sad. I've been talking to him about it and he seemed to have understood what was going to happen. After sacrament meeting I took him the opposite way so that he wouldn't get upset when we passed the nursery room. He still got upset and said "mommy I want to go to nursery". I had to remind him that he was a sunbeam and that he was in a new room. I showed him to the primary room and to where his class sat gave him a kiss and had to hurry out of there because the flood gates were about to open. I went and found Seth and just started balling. Seth leaned over and said if this makes you sad just wait until you drop him off at the mtc for his mission and of course the tears came faster and harder. It makes me so happy to see my little boys first but it is always very emotional for me because I just want him to stay my sweet little man. Porter did great and loved Primary and Sunbeams on Sunday.

8 month

Another month has past and Kenley is another month older. Kenley continues to develop into a beautiful baby girl. This month she has learned to pull herself up to standing and she even will balance herself for a couple of seconds. I think I might have a walker in the next month. Kenley loves the stairs. Every time I put her down she heads straight for the stairs. She has mastered climbing up the stairs. But hasn't really gotten how to come down the stairs. She fell down the stairs at my sisters house and it scared her big time. Kenley is a big babbler. She says dada, mama and baba and then of course her own babble. She got her first tooth on the bottom and now we are working on the second one. She is such a different teether then Porter. She didn't get a fever or a runny nose. She is just cranky all the time until it finally cuts through the gums, which makes things so much fun for mommy and daddy. Kenley is such a great eater. She will literally eat anything that is put in front of her. I am so happy about that because Porter is a picky, picky eater. Kenley girl is such a cutie pie we just love her a bunch.

Toy Story 3 On Ice

Today I took my sweet boy to Toy Story 3 On Ice. Just mommy and Popo. He had so much fun. He sat there eating his popcorn, drinking his drink and just staring at them skate around. I'm so glad him and I got to have an afternoon together.
